Account Executive

Banfield Agency is looking for a bilingual account executive to add to our client services team! We need a relationship builder, someone who can clearly communicate and collaborate with both a diverse client list and the Banfield team. We need someone who understands business, both the day-to-day requirements and the bigger picture. Provide support to Account Directors for designated clients/projects as required including:

  • Checking and reporting on status of projects and preparation of Project Briefs and Work-In-Progress forms on the intranet
  • Orderly transmittal of material to/from clients
  • Internal client liaison
  • Keeping Account Directors informed on status of projects on a daily basis
  • Attending meetings and producing contact reports as required
  • Setting up documents and formats (in MS word, PPT and Excel)
  • Preparation of rough estimates/proposals/invoices for approval, including retrieval of background information
  • Filing documentation according to company processes
  • Keep organized, comprehensive background information on designated clients (including samples and photography)
  • Planning and co-ordination of designated photo and video shoots
  • Attend client services team meetings
  • Assist in preparation of award submissions (defining and providing background details)
  • Instill a sense of confidence and trust in the client towards your own and the teams’ dedication, expertise and capability
  • Motivate, contribute to the team and suggest rewards/thanks as appropriate to get work done internally, while maintaining good morale


  • Ability to work collaboratively with client services, strategy and creative teams, or independently as required
  • Demonstrable analytical, planning and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and fully bilingual (EN/FR) oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and grow relationships
  • A strong understanding of marketing, advertising and how businesses succeed
