The Challenge

In 2011, global satellite communications company Iridium released their latest, groundbreaking Iridium Extreme satellite phone. Banfield was responsible for the branding of this new product and for the multimedia launch campaign that would include materials in a variety of languages to reflect Iridium’s global consumer and partner base.

The Results

Banfield developed the brand strategy, name, marketing plan and executions for print, web, video, displays and more. The launch was a success and the 3D motion promotional videos generated tens of thousands of views, a remarkable number for a relatively niche market product.

In addition to the Iridium Extreme launch, Banfield has launched several new products and categories, as well as their new venture – Aireon. We are very proud of this ongoing partnership, which began in 2008 with the repositioning of the Iridium masterbrand.
