This Is Where You Belong

The Challenge

As with most organizations in the arts and culture sector, subscribers are an incredibly important audience for the National Arts Centre. Since 2008, the National Arts Centre Orchestra (NACO) has worked with Banfield to develop their subscription renewal campaign. For the 2013-2014 season, we were challenged, once again, with convincing the NACO subscriber base to invest in another season with the orchestra.

The Results

Banfield developed a campaign centred on the theme “this is where you belong” in order to bring back positive memories of being at the orchestra and to remind patrons that being a part of NACO truly enriched their lives. The creative used simple and authentic messaging as well as original photography of the orchestra and its patrons, across a range of media. And the campaign achieved renewal objectives with year over year increases in revenue and tickets sold.
