The Challenge

The Ottawa Museum Network (OMN) is the umbrella organization for the city’s community museums. With the goal of attracting more visitors, they chose Banfield for the development of their new device-optimized website.

The Results

Banfield’s designers and writers combined graphics, images and text to create a site that would appeal to families with young children. To reflect the on-the-move lifestyle of these families, the site was designed to have a responsive layout optimized for the desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone. We also used an open source Content Management System (CMS) that would allow our clients to independently and economically make future updates. The new site was extremely successful in increasing the traffic on the site. In the months following the April 2012 launch, year-over-year web visits nearly tripled.
